Therese: In Secret Poster + Elizabeth Olsen on working with Oscar Isaac

Check out the first poster of Oscar Isaac’s upcoming movie In Secret (originally called Therese). You can check it out in our gallery by clicking on the thumbnail. I have a few HD screencaps of Oscar in In Secret that I promise to upload to our gallery in a couple of days.

Elizabeth Olsen on working with Oscar: “Oscar is just a phenomenal actor. He has a such a quiet understanding of how things are going to come across through a camera lens.”

In Secret stars Oscar Isaac, Tom Felton, Elizabeth Olsen and Jessica Lange and is set to release on February 21, 2014. It has been revealed that the film will play at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 8th-9th, 2014. For more information and ticket prices, visit PSFilmFest.org!

Set in the lower echelons of 1860s Paris, Therese Raquin, a sexually repressed beautiful young woman, is trapped into a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin, Camille, by her domineering aunt, Madame Raquin. Therese spends her days confined behind the counter of a small shop and her evenings watching Madame play dominoes with an eclectic group. After she meets her husband’s alluring friend, Laurent, she embarks on an illicit affair that leads to tragic consequences.

First Clip from Therese with Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton & Oscar Isaac

First clip of Therese has surfaced the web! Hopefully there will be more tiny clips featuring Oscar Isaac before the premiere. You can read a great article about it, or simply check out the the clip below.

HeyGuys.co.uk — On the cusp of its debut to the world out in Toronto, the first clip from Charlie Stratton’s anticipated Therese has launched online, giving an early look at what will soon be heading into cinemas followings its festival bow. Elizabeth Olsen leads a stellar cast as the eponymous Thérèse Raquin in Stratton’s adaptation of the classic novel, with Tom Felton, Oscar Isaac, and Jessica Lange starring alongside her.

This bold adaptation of Émile Zola’s sordid novel of adultery and murder in 19th-century Paris places the talented Elizabeth Olsen in the title role, engaging our sympathies and our revulsion in equal measure, until the satisfyingly grim finale.

Starring alongside the leading quartet will be Shirley Henderson, Mackenzie Crook, Matt Lucas, and John Kavanaugh. Stratton is making his feature directorial debut, and is writing from his own script, adapting Émile Zola’s 1867 novel, Thérèse Raquin.

Therese will be making its debut at TIFF in a few weeks’ time, and is set to be released in the US on September 27th. No word yet on a UK release date, but hopefully it won’t be long before it crosses the Atlantic. In the meantime, here’s the first clip from the anticipated film. Smart money says this will be one of the most talked-about debuts at the festival.
