Oscar Isaac Breaks Down His Most Iconic Roles to GQ

Oscar sat with GQ and talked about his most iconic roles in a 15 minutes video that worth the watching.

You might see around on the media mostly headlines talking about the negative parts of X-Men: Apocalypse but he really said much, much more. Like when he met with Nicolas Winding Refn on a restaurant and talked for 4 hours until they aligned what would be his character in Drive. Or when he met with JJ Abrams on a cafe in Paris and did read the whole Star Wars: The Force Awakens script on his iPhone. Or about Inside Llewyn Davis, when he met a guy in a movie set, the guy played in a Dave Van Ronk style and gave Oscar guitar lessons for the movie audition. Or A Most Violent Year, which was filmed near his home, and because of Jessica Chastain which he went to school and Julliard together. He said when he met Jessica he just finished Ex-Machina and was with shaved head and a big beard and she was like “Oh, I don’t know if its the guy we’re looking for”. Or his nerd site taking all the space when he start talking about Ex-Machina.

Oscar Isaac reads Sir Alec Guinness’ grumpy Star Wars letter

Sir Alec Guinness really didn’t enjoy his time on the Star Wars set as Obi Wan Kenobi. That was revealed by a Letter’s Live letter read out by Star Wars star Oscar Isaac earlier this year, and now we’ve got the video from his reading. Guinness wrote that his A New Hope dialogue was “rubbish” and called co-star Harrison Ford a “languid man” in a letter to his friend Anne Kaufman in 1977. Watch it:

New “Star Wars: The Force Awaken” Images

Happy New Year!

I’m back from my vacation, and now updates are going to resume. After watching Star Wars for three times already, I can finally update with articles from the film without the worry on being spoilered. And I can say that it’s being pretty satisfying to see everyone deeply in love with Oscar after the film release. The amount of friends that contacted me asking about other of his films to watch, was really amazing.

Star Wars is about to become the top-grossing title in history. According to THR, the film raced past Furious 7 and Marvel’s The Avengers at the worldwide box office on Monday to land at No. 4 on the list of the all-time top-grossing films with a staggering total of $1.54 billion, not accounting for inflation. The film is yet to open on China, on this weekend, and there’s already some box office predictions. Despite being #1 or not, the Star Wars mania is everywhere.
