Oscar is on cover of cover of GQ magazine’s January 2016 issue, on newsstands nationally on December 22.
It features a great interview, in which he shares about his insecurity on doing Star Wars.
I actually felt the most green and insecure than I had in a long time. I was like, What am I doing here? There was a lot of room to shade in the character. Every time I tried to do that, it would slow things down too much. J.J. would be like, ‘Get on with it, man!’ Just, Louder! Faster! And then I would feel like I was doing that all the time. It felt weird and like I was not being creative. I would get nervous I wasn’t finding enough or I was missing an opportunity.
You can check the full interview at GQ website, and check the HQ photoshoot added in our gallery.
Two new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” teasers have been unveiled, ahead of the big trailer reveal during Monday Night Football.
In the first trailer, Poe (Oscar Isaac) and Finn (John Boyega) share a passive glance at one another. In the second trailer, we see small cameos of all of the main characters, including a quick flicker of a lightsaber.
The first extended trailer will air on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” during halftime of the National Football League game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia. The game starts at 5:15 p.m. PDT/8:15 p.m. EDT on the cable network, which is owned by Disney.
“The Force Awakens” is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker reprising their roles from previous “Star Wars” films. The story is set approximately 30 years after the events of 1983’s “Return of the Jedi.”
